Old gas systems work - until they don't. And when comfort starts slipping, or you're thinking about long-term safety and operating costs, a heat pump conversion is one of the smartest upgrades you can make to your home. That's exactly what we tackled here.

We pulled out the older gas system and replaced it with a custom heat pump setup paired with new electric heat. Part of this job was also sizing the system correctly for the space - because an undersized or oversized system causes problems no matter how new the equipment is. Get the sizing wrong and you're back to uneven temps and higher bills.

The RunTru by Trane air handler going in is clean, well-built equipment. We wired it up carefully, making sure every connection was done right. The control board, motor wiring, and harness connections all get checked before anything goes back together. That's not extra credit - that's just how this work should be done.

The result is a system that runs more efficiently, heats and cools more evenly, and removes the safety concerns that come with aging gas equipment. No combustion, no worrying about heat exchangers cracking over time. Just cleaner, quieter, more consistent comfort.

If your current system is getting up there in age or you've been thinking about making the switch to electric, a heat pump conversion is worth a real conversation. There's a lot to consider - equipment sizing, existing ductwork, electrical capacity - and we walk through all of it so you know exactly what you're getting.
